Dr. Sanjaya GamageDentist
Sanjaya grew up in Auckland and upon completion of high school, left to South Australia to commence a career in Dentistry. Graduating from the University of Adelaide with Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry [Honours] in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sanjaya initially worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service based in Broken Hill, Australia. After which he moved back home to Auckland where he has gained experience in both private practice and Accident and Emergency dentistry. He has also completed a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery, which allows him to incorporate his knowledge of general health and the impact this may be having on your oral health.
Sanjaya is a highly motivated and hardworking clinician whose experiences in a number of clinical settings have allowed him to gain a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, including special interests in oral surgery (surgical extractions and wisdom teeth extractions) and prosthodontics (crown and bridge including full mouth rehabilitation).
Sanjaya is a sound communicator of treatment plans and aims to provide a full range of dental services tailored to each individual patient in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Sam SoDentist
Sam grew up in Dunedin and graduated from University of Otago with Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, following which he has worked across the Waikato region providing a wide range of dentistry to specifically meet patient and community needs.
Sam is motivated and passionate about his work and over the years has established a special interest in all restorative work as well as oral surgery/ extractions. He strongly believes that patient’s understanding is very important, and so takes time to make sure each patient understands their treatment needs and options available. Sam’s goal is to develop a comfortable and friendly environment for each of his patients through proficient communication.
Born and raised in Auckland, Tanvi graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health. She started her career in the public sector by joining the Auckland Regional Dental Service and is currently working part-time with under 18-year olds. She joined the Bishop Dental team as a registered Dental Hygienist in 2018.
Tanvi is strongly committed in delivering oral health care to a high standard with compassion. She enjoys working with patients to improve their oral and general health by providing individual-based hygiene regimes. She aims to provide a pleasant and positive experience for every individual through an emphatic approach.
She continues her professional development and stays updated by regularly attending courses and is a member of the NZ Dental & Oral Health Therapists Association.
Outside of work, Tanvi volunteers at the South Auckland Hospice, and enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and family and trying Auckland’s new eateries.
