Sanjaya grew up in Auckland and upon completion of high school, left to South Australia to commence a career in Dentistry. Graduating from the University of Adelaide with Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry [Honours] in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Sanjaya initially worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service based in Broken Hill, Australia. After which he moved back home to Auckland where he has gained experience in both private practice and Accident and Emergency dentistry.
Sanjaya is a highly motivated and hardworking dental clinician whose experiences in a number of clinical settings have allowed him to gain a keen interest in all aspects of general dentistry, including special interests in oral surgery (surgical extractions and wisdom teeth extractions) and prosthodontics (crown and bridge including full mouth rehabilitation).
Sanjaya is a sound communicator of treatment plans and aims to provide a full range of dental services tailored to each individual patient in a comfortable setting.
- Dr. Dorothy TeoDentist
Dorothy graduated from Otago University, School of Dentistry and has since been serving the wider south and eastern Auckland community. She is also active in local dental voluntary work organized by New Zealand Dental Association (NZDA).
Dorothy is a strong believer of patient autonomy. Hence, she relentlessly explains and ensures that her patient’s understand their dental conditions and all the treatment options available. With aesthetic eyes and skillful hands, she is committed to deliver high quality restorative and preventative treatment. Dorothy enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and prosthodontics (crown and bridge).
She is a motivated life-long learner by attending professional development courses and conferences locally as well as internationally. Outside of dentistry, Dorothy enjoys traveling, whether within or outside of New Zealand.
She also has a passion for landscape photography and is keen to explore good restaurants around Auckland.
- Dr. Katherine FowlerDentist
Katherine graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Upon completion of her studies she returned to her home-city of Auckland and joined the wonderful team at Bishop Dental. Whilst Katherine takes pleasure in the variety that general dentistry provides as a whole, she has a proven success in, and particularly enjoys prosthodontics (dentures and crowns) and paediatrics.
She considers patient satisfaction a genuine reward. After all, a smile is the shortest distance between two people. Katherine prides herself on her communication skills. Aiming to make her patients as comfortable as possible in an often times a daunting environment.
Outside of dentistry, Katherine is passionate about traveling and sports. Partaking in tennis, skiing and the occasional half-marathon. Despite the recent move she is still an avid supporter of the Highlanders. Sometime her two loves combine. In early 2016 Katherine provided dental care to a community in rural Cambodia. She hopes to continue volunteer work in the future, both overseas and within her own borders
